More Diorama!

Daddy helped last night while I went to Bunco! Won $50 for 2nd place. Then we worked on the rocks this morning! Can't wait to start on the waterfall part. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Can't believe how stinkin cold it is. If it is this cold now in Nov. wonder what we are going to have Cmas and after. Maybe a bunch of snow like when I was little! Had the fireplace changed out from gas logs to be able to make a real live fire! Going to make our first one tonight. Haven't had a real fire in the house since I was a kid.

The Start of a Brown Bear Diorama!

Our first elementary project. Rachael is now a big 3rd grader and has to build a habitat for an animal of her choice and she chose a brown bear. So we are learning lots about brown bears. This is the start of the visual part of our diorama experience. We started on the written part last weekend. I think that is actually harder! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Taking the kids to go see Third Day tomorrow night. I even bought them some ear plugs just in case it is too loud. Can't wait!

Card for Jules

My cousin is having her first baby and her name is going to be Savannah. Can't wait to see her. She is not due until Feb. but it will be here before we know it. This card is a card that I actually made when my sister was pregnant so I decided to make one for Julie and send it with my mom when she goes to NC for the shower in a few weeks!
Lots o' Dots

Finally had some time to sit and do some paper crafting. These 3 cards were made for the 3 kids that are the featured kids for Nov. at the Make a Child Smile Organization. Hope they put a smile on their face. Next month there will be 3 new children featured and we hope to be making them a card as well. Hope all is great with everyone. I have more to post so keep looking! Thanks for stopping by.

Cards for a Cause

Nichole Heady from Papertrey Ink has challenged her design team to using their talents to make cards for people in need this holiday season. And one of the ladies on her design team, Michelle Wooderson, has challenged other ladies who visit her blog to except a challenge to make cards for the children at Make A Child Smile Organization. So the kids and I have decided to except her challenge and make cards for these sick kids. We are so blessed to have 2 healthy, thriving kids and we would like to share our blessings with others who are less fortunate. Look again soon and hopefully I will have a pic of some of the cards that we will be sending. Thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone has a great week. Here is a pic of my kids from Halloween - Rachael was Miss America and Tyler was a Recon Comando!
